Trek in the heart of the dunes from Marrakech or Agadir

Experience a 5-day trek in the heart of the most beautiful dunes of Morocco and the wildest for a circuit away from the classic trails. Surrounded by the dune areas of the great Sahara, the immersion is total, the disconnection is perfect!
Day 1: Marrakech or Agadir/ Erg El Mhazil
We leave in the morning from your hotel in Marrakech or Agadir. The adventure begins from the first day with the descent to the south which offers beautiful landscapes through the mountains and the pass of Tizi N'Tichka from Marrakech or the great plains at the foot of the Atlas from Agadir. We reach Foum Zguid via Tazenakht.
From Foum Zguid, we enter the Iriki National Park and the approach of the desert is felt. We will first cross the vast stony plains where the plateau-shaped mountains offer a sumptuous backdrop. We will arrive at Erg El Mhazil at the bivouac which has been set up by the team and where you can enjoy a relaxing time, welcomed by the welcome tea. Then, watch the sunset from the big dune. We dine with a good tagine around the fire, followed by an evening under the stars.
Day 2 Erg El Mhazil – Erg Elhaj Ahmed
After a hearty breakfast, we will leave accompanied by camels who carry the equipment and food for several hours of walking to the Erg Elhaj Ahmed. We will travel the sandy sea which unfolds its magnificent landscapes of dunes in a wild and preserved setting. The caravan will move at your own pace, without precipitation.
In the early afternoon, we will set up camp for the night. You can take the time to relax, enjoy the calm of the desert and adapt your pace to that of nature. You will spend a pleasant night in the silence of the desert, under the celestial vault.

Day 3: Erg Elhaj Ahmed – Erg El Ghoule
Once the camp is closed, we start our daily walk towards Erg El Ghoule. This crossing is an opportunity to observe the fauna and flora of the desert that is revealed to those who take the time to observe it. We will follow your walking pace to our camp point where the bivouac will be installed for the night.
The evening will be an opportunity to meet around the fire to discuss the highlights of the day and talk about nomadic culture, accompanied by music.
Day 4: Erg El Ghoule – Oasis El Grisim
The next day we will walk to the oasis El Grisim where you can enjoy the tranquility and freshness of these places. You will discover the importance of oases in the middle of the desert and the magical atmosphere of this place with a decor completely different from what you have seen so far. We will share with you nomadic traditions such as sand bread making or tea ritual. You will enjoy a good night’s sleep under small tents or under the stars.
Day 5: Oasis El Grisim – Marrakech or Agadir
In the morning, we take the track in 4x4 towards Foum Zguid crossing the vast plains of the dry lake of Iriki then a stop in Tazenakht for lunch and leave towards Marrakech or Agadir where we will drive you to your hotel, arrival in late afternoon.
